It comes up with a message saying that the software on the phone is too old to be used with the backup. I even tried modifying the plist file to try to fool it into thinking the version was correct, but it then said that the backup was corrupted. With respect to your insults, the attitude of most of the people in this forum has sealed my decision to move to an S4. I've heard about 'Apple Fanboys' in the past but this is the first time I have had the unfortunate experience of interacting with them. So, while the outcome was different than I imagined, this has been a productive experience. I would not want to be lumped in with most of you.
